Organizational Context

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) is the United Nations specialized agency with responsibility for the measures to improve the safety and security of international shipping and to prevent pollution from ships. The Technical Cooperation and Implementation Division focuses on supporting Member States in implementing IMO's regulatory framework.

Job Purpose

To support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of technical cooperation projects within the division.

Responsibilities

Assist in project planning and development; Coordinate project activities and deliverables; Monitor project progress and budgets; Liaise with stakeholders and partners; Prepare project reports and documentation.

Work Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in project management or coordination, preferably within an international organization or in the maritime sector.

Skills
